Joy Nail Studio is a small, intentional space in downtown Vancouver, built around one idea: how a set feels matters as much as how it looks. We work in the Korean gel tradition, with fine, even layers, a glass-like finish, and shapes drawn to suit your own hands. Our lightweight lash sets are made to feel just as effortless.

Joy started doing nails in 2016 and came to Vancouver in 2019, opening the first Joy Nail Studio soon after: just her, one chair, and a clear idea of how Korean gel should be done.
Her first teammate joined in 2022, and the studio has grown to a team of six since. The work hasn't changed, though: Korean gel done properly, shapes made for your hands, and a mood that's all her own. She still has a hand in every set that leaves the studio.

With a little care, our Korean gel keeps its glossy, chip-free finish for 4–5 weeks. Built in thin, flexible layers, it moves with your natural nail — so it lasts without lifting.
Yes. Gentle removal is available as an add-on. We soak and buff slowly so your natural nail stays healthy, then build your fresh set on top.
A little daily cuticle oil, gloves for cleaning, and try not to use your nails as tools. When it's time, book removal or your next set within 4–5 weeks rather than picking at lifted edges.
Yes — light classic lash extensions, fine and natural, made for every day. Volume and hybrid sets are coming soon.
No problem — you can reschedule yourself online up to 72 hours before your appointment. Closer than that, send us a text or an Instagram DM and we'll find you a new time. A change made within 48 hours counts as a last-minute cancellation, so a fee applies.
Street parking runs $2–7/hr, and there's 2 hours free at International Village Cineplex, about a 10-minute walk away.
